MISSION

The Catonsville Community Foundation supports local nonprofit organizations by developing long term financial strategies through bequests, grants, and gifts. The Foundation is dedicated to strengthening the community by attracting attention and financial support for nonprofit projects, historic preservation, community revitalization, and higher education scholarships.

HISTORY

The Catonsville Community Foundation (CCF) is a project of the Greater Catonsville Chamber of Commerce to honor the history and maintain the charm of Catonsville. Founded in 2002 as a 501 (c) 3, our purpose is to afford individuals the opportunity to make flexible gifts to meet the needs of Catonsville residents, and to assist Catonsville's nonprofit organizations in achieving their missions.

CCF offers assistance to established Catonsville nonprofit groups, and also helps newly formed groups in need of financial and accounting support. CCF supports local organizations such as the Catonsville 4th of July Committee, Friends of the Catonsville Library and the Catonsville Historical Society and welcomes new groups with innovative ideas to CCF.

The CCF is guided by an active, widely representative and knowledgeable board of directors, whose mission is to meet the needs of Catonsville charities in an ever-changing environment. It is the goal of the CCF Board of Directors to assure that every donation is used wisely and effectively in enhancing the Catonsville community today and well into the future.
