Sunday, December 07, 2008 - Mount de Sales Academy's Annual Christmas Bazaar and Spaghetti Dinner

The Parents’ Club of Mount de Sales Academy will host its annual Christmas Bazaar and Spaghetti Dinner on Sunday, December 7, from Noon to 6:00 p.m.  The school is located at 700 Academy Road, Catonsville, Maryland. Shop for handmade crafts, enjoy delicious sweets and baked goods, visit Santa’s Secret Shop for children, bid on silent auction theme baskets, raffles, and much more!  Student performers will fill the air with festive holiday music.

Enjoy an authentic Italian spaghetti dinner including homemade meat sauce, salad, freshly baked bread, and beverage.  Tickets are $$9 for adults, $$7 for senior citizens and $$5 for children, ages 6-12.  Family tickets are available for $$35 (immediate family only).  Carry out dinners may be purchased.

All proceeds will benefit Mount de Sales Academy, a Catholic, all-girls, college preparatory high school.

'A Night in Bethlehem'

A FREE family Christmas event hosted by St. Timothy's Church

200 Ingleside Avenue - Catonsville

Saturday, December 20th

4:00 - 6:00 p.m.

We are inviting families to walk back in time and spend a few hours in Bethlehem. There will be hands on experiences for the kids, like making perfume or designing a mosaic, as they visit different shops in the market place. A Jewish home will be set up to entertain guests while sampling food like dates, figs, and pomegranates. Families will register for the census and have their photograph taken as a keepsake of their mid-east adventure.

Finally, they will be able to visit the manger to see the live Nativity, and remember why it is that we celebrate this special day called Christmas.
